Justin Lin dirige Lucas Black e Bow Wow nel terzo capitolo della saga action. Per evitare il carcere, un giovane pilota di corse clandestine si trasferisce a Tokyo, dove si cimenta per la prima volta con le gare di drifting, ma finisce per essere coinvolto nei loschi giri della Yakuza.
